A Black Swan Event is an unpredictable event that causes catastrophic damage to an economy. A few days ago, we wrote an article describing the coronavirus as a Black Swan Event (see blog post below). Today, Sequoia Capital, a famous venture capital firm writes a letter to all CEOs of the companies they manage in which the opening sentence says, "Coronavirus is the black swan of 2020". So far, it seems like we are correct. As for now, we are just waiting for the bottom. We just have to wait and see how deep this rabbit hole goes. |
